The purpose of the scientific research is the development of theoretical and methodological provisions and practical recommendations for the sustainable development of rural areas, taking into account the optimization of the resource potential of the agricultural sector and the financial rehabilitation of agricultural enterprises in Perm Krai.

The methodological basis of the study is the work, development and recommendations of a number of scientists, concepts, reference materials, legislative acts, normative and methodological documents of state, regional and local government in the theory and practice of socio-economic development of rural areas. The information and application database is provided by the Federal Statistical Service for the Perm Region, operational information of local self-government bodies in the municipal districts of Perm Krai, regional and municipal programs for social and economic development, and reports on the economic activities of the district organizations.
Degree of implementation: The main results of the research were presented at international and All-Russian scientific and practical conferences.
